I have a favour to ask

This is a post I never wanted to make. But I have a favour to ask.
I started my business, Bakau Consulting, in 2018. I was inspired by the values of social justice, equity and collective liberation that were instilled in me by my family and community.
It is not easy to ask for help but we have always said our approach to DEI is no bullsh*t, so here is the reality.
Despite significant pledges to commit to anti-racism work from all kinds of organizations, that was short-lived. Many small businesses (like us) and people in our industry are struggling.
Companies are simply no longer prioritizing this work, despite its ongoing importance, and it's seriously impacting us and many others. We've been confused, stressed and sad, and we really feel like we've tried everything.
But we do want to give this one last shot and we need your help.
